She was born December 8, 1947, to Clyde and Dorothy Jackson. She is preceded in death by her sister, Mary Beaver, her parents, and Louis P. Del Signore, husband of 25 years. survived by her loving husband of 21 years, Leonard Roper, who devotedly cared for her during her valiant battle with cancer; three loving children: Chery (Doug) Puddy of San Marcos, Toni (Ervin) Toliver of Austin, and Nick Del I Signore of Fort Worth; two step- Harrison (Beverly) Roper of Waco and Jennifer Roper of Windsor, Colorado; brother, Jay (Pam) Jackson of Houston, Texas; nieces, Michelle Seele of Corpus, Katherine and Laura Jackson of Houston; and eleven grandchildren. She worked as a math teacher, special ed.

He was 79. Born on December 2, 1936 in Dallas, Texas to John Luther Scott and Lucille (Berry) Scott-King and preceded in death by his parents, his sister Alva (Petie) McGlaughlin, and brother-in-law Frank W. Jones and his mother-in-law, Lula Derrough. John is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sharon; daughters Cynthia (Michael) Riggins of Bayside, Texas, Lisa (Dave) Heath of Enterprise, Alabama, and Shelly (Billy) Morgan of Corpus Christi, Texas. Siblings, Lahoma Jones of Utopia, Texas and Kelly (LoRena) Scott of Tarpley, Texas.

Grandchildren Crystal (Steven) Anzaldua of Frisco, Texas. Jonathan and Jacob Heath, Leanne and Read Morgan, Great Grandchildren Trinity and Alexander Anzaldua. John graduated from Woodsboro High School in 1955 and served as a Naval Corpsman in the United States Marines. He married his loving wife Sharon Derrough in 1960. John served as the Constable of Bayside and retired from Quintana Petroleum in Refugio, Texas after over 35 years of service.

John was an avid outdoorsman and loved to fish and hunt. He was a member of the Port Aransas Boatman's Association and the Masonic Lodge in Woodsboro, Texas. John enjoyed traveling and was a devoted NASCAR fan. Visitation will be on Monday, July 11, 2016, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Moore Funeral Home in Refugio, Texas.

A memorial graveside service will be held on Tuesday morning, July 12, 2016, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Cemetery in Bayside, Texas. John would like you to come as you are. No jackets or ties required.

While flowers are welcome, friends and family may choose to donate to the Bayside Ladies Guild at P.O. Box 108, Bayside, TX 78340 that assists the community of Bayside (which John was a lifelong supporter) by granting funds to both graduating seniors and the Bayside Volunteer Fire Department. She was born January 20, 1948, Benjamin Tetzlaff and Hazel Barnet in Dayton, Ohio.

She graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Dayton in 1969, and a Master of Library Science from the University of Kengrl: tucky in 1971. She worked at various college libraries before becoming head of library technical services at Del Mar in 1978. She served as director of the Del Mar Library from 1989 until her retirement. She was active in the Texas and American Library Associations. Chris had four great loves in her life-her son Tommy, the Del Mar Library, stray and injured animals, and collecting Christmas and Santa Claus ornaments.

She was a good, ethical person, but she did not suffer fools gladly. She was predeceased by her parents. Chris is survived by her son Tommy, her brothers Anthony and Christopher, and grit SPIC two nieces. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, July 12, 2016, at FION 219 3:30 p.m. at the chapel of the First United Methodist Church in Corpus Christi.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. His dedication was to his family and his church, Our Lady of Pilar Catholic Church.

He had a great sense of humor and was an excellent story teller. Steve is preceded in death by his parents; sister and son, Jose Angel Hernandez. He was born in Trenton, New Jersey to Alexander B. Kopczynski and Josephine C. Kopczynski where he was raised and eventually met his wife of 62 years, Angela Gladys (Telehowitz) Kopczynski.

Alexander was a custom kitchen cabinet builder and established his own business with his brother-in law, Joseph Dutko (Dutko-Kopczynski Kitchen Cabinets). Alexander put his talents to further use by building his first home in Pennington, New Jersey where he and Angela raised their five children. In his spare time, he enjoyed coaching little league baseball and was an avid bowler. With bowling as his passion, he belonged to local bowling leagues, entered tournaments and participated in league bowling up to the age of 82. He loved all sports and you could typically find him on the couch on a Sunday watching TV and taking in all the action.

He was preceded in death by his sister Lucy Jones and his oldest daughter Mary Diane David. He is survived by his best friend and wife Angela G. (Telehowitz) Kopczynski; his two sisters Dorothy Dutko of Pennington, NJ, and Sally Houghton of Trenton, New Jersey; his daughter Barbara Naugle and her husband Bill of Corpus Christi, Texas; Jeanette Ribsam of Pennington, New Jersey, his two sons, Alexander J. Kopczynski of Seabrook, Texas and wife Janet; and Arthur Kopczynski of Sicklerville, New Jersey and son-in-law, Hank David of Spring, Texas. He has many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other friends who will miss his smiling presence.

Evelyn was born on September 19, 1921 in Woodsboro, Texas.

She spent her summers at the family cottage in Bayside where she loved the bay and swimming. Bayside remained her favorite place throughout her life. She graduated from 1 Texas Women's University in Denton in January 1943 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech and took her first teaching job in Pecos, Texas. While there, she met Raymond N. "Nick" Nicol (an Army Air Corps flight instructor) and they were married April 18, 1944 in Spokane, Washington.

Evelyn received her Master's Degree of Education in Special Education from the University of Texas in Austin in 1954. She earned her Speech Therapy certification from the University of Houston. During her long career in education, Evelyn worked as a speech therapist and also taught speech, drama and debate. Her last position was as Principal of Ada Wilson School for the Physically Handicapped in Corpus Christi. Evelyn is preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Bessie Cummins, by her husband, Raymond N.

"Nick" Nicol, siblings and their spouses Harry Jr. (Mary), Frank (Holley), Dale (Wilda), Margaret (Dan) and (Thurston Mallard). She was also preceded in death by her nieces Susan Grant, Jane Slape, her nephews Dan Murray Thompson, Howard Cummins, her great niece Aimee Buchanan, and her ward, Susan Scott. Evelyn is survived by two sons, Raymond and Douglas (Debbie), both of Corpus Christi, two grandchildren, Christine Nicol and Raymond Nicol and numerous adoring nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her older sister, Mary Louise Cummins Mallard of Asheville, NC.

Evelyn was a very involved member of Parkway Presbyterian Church in Corpus Christi for 60 years. She was blessed to have a special friendship with Joan Salazar and her husband Tom for many years. A memorial service in celebration of Evelyn's life will be held at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 13, 2016, at Parkway Presbyterian Church, 3707 Sante Fe St. with Pastor Allen Mosiman officiating, reception following. Seagle CORPUS CHRISTI, TX Jerry V. Seagle was born on July 31, 1941, in Corpus Christi, Texas, and passed away on June 24, 2016, in Austin, Texas.

Jerry was a contemporary artist and graduated with honors and a BFA from the University of Texas. He received a graduate fellowship to further his studies at the University of the Americas in Mexico City. He had extensive teaching experiences with workshops in Texas and New Mexico and received more than 250 awards in national and regional exhibitions. He continued painting until his death. Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Virginia Seagle, and his life partner, Del Wood.

He is survived by his sisters, Carla (Paul) Schneider, Dollie (Tom) Hunt, and his brother, James (Diane) Seagle, as well as his nephews, nieces, and great-nephews and nieces. Jerry had many artist friends in Texas, and his family is especially grateful to Keva Richardson who spent time with him in the hospital every day before his death. There will be no service. Texas passed away on Thursday, July 07, 2016. He was born in Buda, Texas on May 28, 1937 to Claudio and Michaela Soto. He served in the US Army during the early 60's. He was a member of Monte Sinai Christian Church for several years, where he served as Commander of the Royal Rangers, and a current member of Temple I Am where he served as an Elder. He was a follower of Jesus for 31 years.

His home was always open to family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, one brother, and grandson, Stephen Serrata. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Luz Soto; a sister, Lupe (Johnny) Aleman; daughters, Irma Reyes, Lolly (Dan) Zamora, a granddaughter whom he raised as his own, Sylvia (Rene) Rojas, three grandsons, Matthew Reyes, Aaron Reyes, and Nathan Reyes; his great-grandchildren, Tanya Nicole Rojas (Roland Gonzalez), Rene Rojas III, Steven Alexander Luna, and Claudia Luna; and great-great-grandchildren, Brison Rojas, Raelynn Rosales, and Lourdes Noel Gonzalez, and numerous other relatives and friends. A Prayer Service will be held at 7pm on Monday, June 11, 2016 at Ramon Funeral Home Chapel in Robstown, Texas. A Final Viewing will be held on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 from 10:00 am to at Ramon Funeral Home Chapel.
