Virgin Media is offering all new customers a free 43-inch Smart TV from Hisense
The new 2024/25 Premier League kicks off this Friday, August 16 as Manchester United take on Fulham at Old Trafford, anyone looking to watch could cut their season bill by hundreds. Virgin Media launches another way, yet again, to drop the price of your TV bill.
Virgin Media is back with its free bill credit or device deal, avid readers will know the drill, and this time it's offering shoppers a free 43-inch Hisense TV or the choice of £250 bill credit when they pick one of its plans. Giving streamers a swanky new gogglebox to use, which could come in handy for footie fans.
It's only available to customers who pick one of four plans; Bigger Movie Combo Bundle, Bigger Sports HD Combo Bundle, Biggest Combo, or its Mega Volt Bundle. All offer something different for keen viewers, whether you want access to Sky Sports, Cinema, Netflix, broadband... or all of it.

It's a popular deal offered by Virgin Media and in the past, it's handed out free Nintendo Switches and PS5s in a similar way, one of many reasons why we keep it on our tech radar. As thousands of Premier League, Paralympic, and US Open fans get ready to watch live it could be well suited...that's if you're after a new streaming package.
The offer is only around for new billpayers until the end of the week, as it finishes at 11:59 this Sunday, August 18. It's not known when its next free bundle will be.
Eager shoppers should know that to get the deal means you'll be fixing into a fixed 24-month contract, and there is no wiggle room to leave halfway through without being subject to a hefty fee. Prices of the plans start at £59.99 per month so the minimum you'd pay across the full term is £1,439 - which includes the free 43-inch Hisense TV or £250 bill credit, 200 TV channels, Sky Sports HD and Movies.

The rival provider has reduced the price of its Sky Stream, Sky TV, Sky Sport, and Netflix bundle which is currently on offer for £43 per month. This works out to be cheaper than Virgin as it doesn't include a broadband plan, so worthwhile for TV-only fans to look at.

The main reason is its commitment to 50% more coverage: "Launching this August, Sky Sports+ will be transformational in the amount of choice sports fans will have access to via live streams on Sky TV, streaming service NOW and the improved Sky Sports App on mobile", is the official announcement on the Sky Sports website. As it boosts the EFL, tennis tour coverage, and the men's Super League (every match to be exact).
On its site Sky continues: "This year Sky Sport brings you 50% more sport...at no extra cost." With the number one reason being additional coverage, the second reason fans may want to pick the providers is for its Virgin-beating prices."
